Corinne Corson, an avid hiker, was solo-hiking while on a holiday in California. Her eight mile-day hike turned sideways after losing her map, leaving her stranded in rough terrain. After working her way through thick brush, trying to find the path back, Corinne pushed the S.O.S. on her SPOT Gen3® device knowing she would get rescued by a helicopter.
