What happens if I dial 911 from my SPOT Global Phone?

In the event of a life-threatening or critical emergency, dial 9-1-1 from your SPOT Global Phone in the US & Canada. Your call will be redirected to search and rescue services. 

The SPOT Global Phone allows you to talk directly with a live search and rescue operator to provide details on the life-threatening situation along with more direct interaction and information exchange including details about the emergency and location.
