Renting a SPOT Gen3 is as easy as 1-2-3!
You will need a valid credit card, have a physical mailing address in the United States for UPS delivery, be at least 18 years of age and agree to all our Terms & Conditions.
Please allow at least 3 business days for processing and shipping and at least 2 days for you to complete the device set-up and test the device prior to your adventure.
No. The system automatically calculates the cost based on the dates you select in the calendar. 1-3 days will cost $75 plus shipping and taxes and each additional day will cost $15.
You will be charged $150 to replace the unit.
Your credit card is charged in full for the rental cost, taxes and shipping at the time of your order. You will need to contact our Customer Relations Department at 1-866-651-7768 to arrange for a refund of these charges. If the device has already been shipped, you will need to return the device immediately and we will refund you the aforementioned charges when the device is received.
Please email a replacement request to Shipping@Globalstar.com and we will email you a new one right away.
If the device is not picked up by UPS within 7 days of your return from your adventure, your credit card will be charged $150 to replace the device.
We understand accidents happen. If the device is damaged, but still functioning, your credit card will be charged $50 to repair. However, if the device is damaged and not functioning, your credit card will be charged $150 to replace the unit.

We will only guarantee your SPOT Gen3 if you use AAA Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries (L92) or AAA Energizer® NiMH rechargeable batteries (NH12).
