The Connect is the next big thing from SPOT. We previously tested the SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger and were thrilled with its usefulness. Our editors could travel the world and easily track progress and send predefined messages to predefined contacts. One disadvantage, however, is the old system's inability to compose messages and send them to different recipients. That's why we're so happy with the SPOT Connect. It basically turns a smartphone or tablet into a GPS messenger.
