• Contact Groups & Pre-Defined Messages on the DeLorme PN-60w with SPOT Communicator

  • New for the DeLorme/SPOT Communicator, these screens allow customers to setup contacts, contact groups and pre-defined messages that can then be exported to the DeLorme device using the export option.

  • Up to 14 pre-defined messages can be exported to each DeLorme PN-60w. Have a ton of messages on hand and choose at your arsenal—all included in your basic service plan!

  • Up to 10 contact groups can be exported to each DeLorme PN-60w.

  • Up to 50 contacts are allowed per contact group.

  • Contacts may be assigned to more than one contact group but nesting of contact groups (within other groups) is not supported.

  • Although the number of contact groups & messages that can be exported is limited (to 10 & 14 respectively), each SPOT account can support more than this. Just store what you want and go back to change your active contact groups then export the 10 to your device.

• Important instructions if you have a DeLorme PN-60w with SPOT Communicator

  • After changing contact, message and social connectivity settings, you should always export the changes to the PN-60w. This ensures that the device configurations are all in sync with the SPOT account information.

  • Export device configuration via USB to the DeLorme PN-60w (DeLorme plugin for Windows/Mac required).

• Cool fact about Type & Send Message cost structure - When customers send a Type & Send Message, they are sending one message to a Contact Group. Whether they have one person or 50 people in that contact group, they are only charged for one message. SPOT provides the delivery of the message to each contact in the group for one message fee.
