Beyond your static data from previous adventures, in SPOTadventures on your profile page, you can show live data with the Live Map widget. Your Live Map contains your Shared Pages integrated onto your SPOTadventures profile. The widget can even be displayed in full screen. If you have multiple Shared Pages, these will show as multiple Live Map Feeds above the current Live Map. You can browse through these live feed icons to display them. You can setup your SPOTadventures account in two different ways.

1. At www.spotadventures.com if you have a SPOT Messenger.
2. If you do not have a SPOT Messenger, you can still sign up as a registered user at www.spotadventures.com.  This allows you to create a profile, comment on other’s adventures, view and rate adventures.  Click the "Sign Up" link in the upper right hand corner of www.spotadventures.com.  This will take you to a sign up page. Follow the sign up process.

If you are a registered user or not a part of SPOTadventures at all but would like to experience the full features of SPOTadventures account, you must purchase a SPOT Satellite Messenger and activate it to experience these features.

Setting up an account usually takes 5 minutes and only requires an email address and a SPOT User name and password if you are an existing SPOT customer.

Note on Shared Pages and SPOTadventures:

If you have created your free account at SPOTadventures.com, you will notice that under your profile view, there is a location for a Live Map. Live Maps are based on your shared pages. Whatever shared pages you have created, they will appear in your Live Map feeds as different tabs.

Therefore, if you want to take advantage of the Live map features in SPOTadventures.com, you will need to create shared pages in your login.findmespot.com account.

In your SPOTadventures.com profile, you can click on edit profile and there is an option to hide any Live Feed Map that you may have. Another option, if you have multiple Live Map Feeds appearing under your Feed Names in your profile, is to set a certain one as the default view.

Setting up your Shared Pages:

You can set-up a URL through the shared pages feature on your account at https://login.findmespot.com for your friends to view your GPS points. Don’t forget to send the link to those you know or have SPOT send the link by filling out some fields under your shared pages account feature. This real time feature uses the Google Maps that we all love.

Share your adventure with just a few simple steps:

1. Log in to your account at https://login.findmespot.com

2. Click on the "Share" tab

3. This will bring you to the view below. Then click on Create Shared Page. From here, you can set up a share page. You can open the link of a newly created share page and share it with your friends and family by copying, pasting and emailing the link of the page after you open it. Or, simply enter the recipients and have SPOT send the link for you by following the instructions.

When you come back to your account. You can always create more shared pages or see the existing ones that you've created under "Manage Shared Pages". Have fun sharing your adventure!
