CarolAnn Garratt and Carol Foy, two women pilots, departed from Orlando International Airport on December 2 to fly around the world in 7 days. Their goal was to set a new world speed record and to raise $1 million for ALS and Lou Gehrig's disease research.
Update: Congratulations on the Dash for a Cure World Flight that ended on Friday, December 12, 2008. SPOT was proud to support the crew and its followers with tracking and emergency assistance capability as they raced around the world.
